Top 10 Strongest Bald Anime Characters You Don't Want to Mess With
by Daichi on Jun 18, 2022
Bald anime characters are not so common in anime, but when they do appear, they always leave an impression — whether as a comic relief character, a strong badass, or both.
Here is a list of the strongest bald anime characters. They might not have any hair, but these characters are badass.
10. Jet Black – Cowboy Bebop
Jet, also known as Black Dog, is a former ISSP officer turned bounty hunter. He owns and captains the Bebop and is seen as the father figure member of the Bebop crew. Still, despite the obviousness, he dislikes being regarded as the eldest member, preferring to be regarded as a young man.
While he comes out as rude and a little rough, he can be caring and thoughtful to his friends and allies. He considers his crew his family and would go to great lengths for them.
9. Superalloy Darkshine – One Punch Man
Darkshine is the S-Class Rank 11 professional hero of the Hero Association. His skin gives off a lustrous shine suggesting his name – Dark Shine.
Darkshine, like Saitama, was a typical weak human with hair. However, after years of weight training and bodybuilding, he broke the limiter he had on his body.
Despite his intimidating physique, Darkshine is a level-headed individual who dislikes fighting. However, he does an excellent job of thrashing his opponents.
8. Alex Louis Armstrong – Fullmetal Alchemist
Alex is a State Alchemist and officer in the Amestrian State Military. Despite his intimidating physique, Alex is decidedly softhearted and almost comically emotional, quickly bursting into tears of sorrow, compassion or joy in most situations.
Alex is known to routinely remove his shirt to display his physique. He will remove his shirt on numerous occasions, whether to perform labour, confront someone in battle, cheer someone up, show off and boast or experience an overwhelming emotion of any type – this act adds comic relief to the anime.
While Alex is softhearted and overly sentimental, you can count on him to deliver when needed.
7. Ikkaku Madarame – Bleach
Ikkaku is the lieutenant and former 3rd Seat officer in the 11th Division of the Gotei 13, under Captain Kenpachi Zaraki.
Ikkaku is violent, rude and loves fighting. He loves fighting so much that he is unwilling to travel anywhere without a sword, resorting to carrying a wooden one when posing as a student at Karakura High School.
He is very self-conscious about his baldness, often insisting he is not bald but that his head is “shaven” and will threaten anyone who points this out.
6. Doppo Orochi – Baki
Doppo is the 10th dan karate grandmaster and the head of the Shinshikai Karate school. Having been practicing martial arts for 50 years, he is regarded as one of the strongest characters in the Baki series.
He is known for various titles, including God of War, Man-Eater Orochi, and Tiger Slayer. Doppo, along with Baki Hanma and Kaiou Kaku, is one of the few who can compete with Yujiro Hanma, the strongest creature alive.
5. Krillin – Dragon Ball
Krillin is a comic relief in the chaotic fantasy world of dragon ball; this iconic character is one of the most relatable people and well-known bald anime characters even by non-fans.
He’s one of the most powerful and talented pure-blooded humans in the Dragon Ball series. He is courageous, faithful, and good-natured. He's insightful, quick to anger, and forgiving, but he has a strong sense of honor.
Krillin trained with Master Roshi along with Goku. He had a brief rivalry with Goku when they first trained under Master Roshi, but they quickly became lifelong best friends.
Although Krillin is not the most powerful bald character, he is a favorite among anime fans.
4. Saitama – One Punch Man
Even if you don’t know any strong bald anime character, you should have heard or seen Saitama at one point.
Saitama was an average human with hair who became bald and extraordinarily powerful due to the severity of his physical training, which consisted of 100 sit-ups, pushups, and squats followed by a 6.2-mile (10-kilometer) run for three years, breaking the limiter he had on his body.
Saitama is easily one of the overpowered characters in the anime verse. All he needs to do is one punch his opponent, and voila, they’re dead.
3. Master Roshi (Dragon Ball)
There are various bald characters in Dragon Ball, but Mater Roshi sticks out the most. He is a martial arts master who has trained the likes of Goku and Krillin, amongst other Z fighters.
Roshi was the creator of the legendary Kamehameha technique, which he passed on to Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha. Thanks to him, they all became the popular hero we know today.
While being a strong character, Roshi is also a fun character. You just can't help but love him with his beach clothing, sunglasses, walking stick, and perverted personality.
2. Isaac Netero – Hunter x Hunter
Chairman Isaac Netero is a lot of things: funny, energetic, playful, smart, and damn strong. He is regarded as the most powerful Nen user and has the highest authority in the Hunter Association.
In his prime, Netero committed his life to martial arts and prayer as a gesture of gratitude. His techniques are in the form of prayer, allowing him to summon massive astral that will crush all his opponents like ants.
His fight with Meruem, the ant king, was one of the series greatest. Chairman Netero goes all-in to fight the ant king. He even went so far as to sacrifice himself in order to defeat the ant king and ultimately save humanity. Netero will live on in our hearts forever.
1. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto (Bleach)
Yamamoto is the oldest and strongest in the entire soul society. He served as Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13 for a thousand years. (Yeah, he’s 1000+ years old!)
“Why do you think I have served as Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13 for a thousand years? Because in all those thousand years, no Shinigami was born to rival me in strength” – He said! Which is sick & true, as nobody could dare challenge him!
We didn’t get to see him in action until the end of the show when he faced off against Aizen. Later on in the manga, we saw Yamamoto’s Bankai. And I must say, it’s quite a sight. His achievements place him among the strongest bald anime characters.
